help me choose my free new wheels!!
help me choose my free new wheels!!
it sounds exciting but its actualy really frustrating...
i am getting replacement wheels do to finish quality on my american racing cannons. they told me i can pick anything of a similar style and finish from wheel pros.
truck and current wheels:

i am really struggling to find a wheel that fits my diameter, width, and backspacing requirements.
these requirements are based off my tire size, fender flares, and a arm clearance. so far here is what i found:
17x9 KMC Addict 6x135 18mm offset

17x8.5 ATX Thug 6x135 15mm offset

the thug is obviously the teflon coating of what i have, but i am a little concerned about the finish on the addict holding up. i do think that the black addicts would hold up better that the machined as the clear coat seams to be the real weakness. i am also worried about the rivets on the addicts as they appear plated.
at this point i would feel most comfortable with the thugs, as i know i like their design, the rivets that are on there look to be stainless(they appear to be missing the chrome ones that my wheels have), and the teflon should do better at holding up on a day to day basis.
