So today I decided to have lunch in town instead of sitting in my office and eating my peanut butter sandwich, went out jumped in the 150 drove into town, decided Subway sounded good, but unfortunately i was in the wrong lane to pull into the Subway, I just figured I would get on it a little at the stop light and jump out infront of the other car to make the turn (yea kind of messed up I know) Well I didnt want to make a scene so I didn't hammer it, I just got a little heavy on the foot, obviously I underestimated the Monte-Carlo in the other lane, because I was not pulling away from them, so at this point I strait up hammered it, the kids in the Monte must not have liked my Maggie blasting in their window so they hammed it also, I decided I would not allow this type insolence around the 150, so I stayed on it, but I never was able to pass them The embarrassment was unbearable, not only did I lose the race, but I missed my turn and was forced to eat Spangles. After eating I walked in my office, pulled out my visa and purchased an Edge Evo. Knowing the wife WILL be pissed when the package arrives tomorrow and that she would likely be holding a bat when I walk in the door, I also ordered some diamond earrings from Kay, that I will be picking up tomorrow after work.

So just my little rant, never would have thought I was going to be spending 700 dollars today, just because I didn't want to eat my peanut butter sandwich. Bright side I get my Edge TOMORROW!

Nice little story! I had a SC Monte, they are pretty quick cars. But mine was very problematic, I babied it and at 71-72000miles the tranny was taking a dump and it also started to have electrical problems. The last bowtie i will own for a long time!!

Very true, the Monte, if SCed, will still easily be able to pull away. My truck, Edge-Airaid Jr-custom exhaust, didn't stand a chance against my Monte.
