F150 for towing

My parents have a 24ft travel trailer that has sat in a field for about 2.5 years. I've taken it apon myself to start using it for camping. The question I have is my dad uses his 02 F350 7.3 to tow it. how would my 04 f150 with a 5.4 3:55s and 33's handle it, also loaded with dirtbikes and gear? thanks!

Go into the towing and hauling section and read some of the posts in there, 1st thing you need is a total weight GWVR.

Being that is it a "newer" camper, you will be just fine towing it and carrying 6-700lbs of bikes in the bed. I would guess that a 24'er would be in the 5-6K range. If it was a heavy old 70's era camper you would still be able to tow it, but you probably wouldn't be able to put much in the bed because the older campers are so damn heavy!!
