I need to get some new brakes on my fx4. I currently have it leveled with 18" kmc's and 33 inch tires. I wonder what after market brakes you guys are running that are affordable and still will be able to stop the size of these wheels. Thanks

 

I am not positive but those tires are not that big a deal. I have 18" with 31's and have not trouble whatsoever with stock rotors and factory pads.

I learned long ago though...don't skimp on brakes EVER. Quality last much longer and no dust. Its a no brainer for me.

 

Wagner Thermoquiets on mine. I replaced the rotors and pads at the same time. No issues at all. Stops better than before.

 

I've been running the Hawk LTS pads and PowerSlot rotors on all 4 corners of my truck for the last month and a half or so. I find that it does grab better but not overly noticeable.
To date I have no squealing issue or brake dust issues. I also did the Russell stainless steel brake lines.
