title pretty much says it all.... on the 4 plastic step covers how do you remove them? they are getting grey/white and i want to paint them. i think the rails have clips under them but i haven't looked yet.

also can the top of the bumper be removed as well?

i remember seeing some step caps for the 99-03 f150s that was smooth, does anyone know if there is something like that for the 04s?
