Dumped Magnaflow

anyone running a "dumped" magnaflow??? I beign thinking an exhaust system for my 07 FX4 5.4, I want a magnaflow with 3" pipe catback to the stock location or a magnaflow muffler with a dump(also 3" pipe catback) I'm leaning a little more towards the dumped version, What do ya'll think???

i know it says you want a magi but i run a flowmaster dumped... i love my setup now (i've duals straight out, and duals at 45' angles)
im extremely satisfied with the dump. but there is alot of drone in the cab... espcially on the highway..
just letting you know about the "dump" part of the exhaust... since i dont have a magi..

is there any main reason why your leaning towards a magi, rather than another brand?

I have always used magis' on all my previous trucks, I just love the low rumble at idle and how it really comes alive at WOT

I've ran dynomax with turn-downs (what y'all call "dumps") on my last 3 vehicles and absolutely love 'em. I get alot of compliments on 'em and they sound good! I run 2.5" pipe from cats back. The turndowns are @ the muffler and they are 3". Ya can check my sig to see what it is. Good luck.

there is still some cab noise ...i can still hear the radio just fine... i loved the sound with it dumped.. was very deep but i knew it was to loud for wife and kids.... my local shop sells flowmaster and magnaflow and highly recommended magnaflow... said flowmaster were just for sound with no added performance.. so i went with performance and sound

I did the exact same thing with the 18" and wanted to kick myself for not having it run out the side first time around. Way too much in-cab drone.

Edit: added a pic

I do not like my dumped 3x14 magnaflow it's way too quiet, you guys are all pansys I also have hi flow cats and long tube headers, it's way too quiet, also don't run 3" allthe way it's too big you will loose back pressure in my experience I had best performance and sound with long tubes to a 3" y pipe down to 2.5" and out the side with a 22x3.5 tip, it was a tad louder then I wanted but I loved it my roommates and neighbors didn't though

Seems to me that if your wives, roomates, neighbors and kids think that your exhaust is too loud - then it is too loud. These are the people that are important to you [I think] and therefore you should respect their opinions. Mellow exhaust are fine [in my opinion] but blatting loud are not. Just my two cents.
