rancho makes a great lift kit, but their pricing kills the popularity of it IMO. not many guys are gonna pay more for a 4" lift than a 6" lift.

fabtech allows the use of stock rims too, i knew several guys who bought a rancho just for that reason, now they don't have that going for than anymore. in todays economy, they better lower the price or something.

6" isn't really that big. if you want your more than welcome to come out to a TTS meet (9 pm fridays at 45 and cypresswood north side of town) and drive my truck around if you are even thinking about a lift.

will09, a 6" lift kit should put you about the height of a rancho lift tho.

atom what was your fender heights on your rancho?

wxcpo was like around 43" with his 2wd w/ 6"

Ya it may not be much but I don't want it to be too big. My truck has a 3/5 drop on it now so anything will be high enough for me lol

In regards of the 4" being more than the 6", I would pay more for Rancho qaulity and have less lift than pay for ProCrap and have more.

Just my opinion.

i was at 44 3/8" at the center of the arch on 35's

the procomp is a tried and true kit, by man on here. to call it procrap is being ignorant, just because you don't have it doesn't mean you have to bash on it

Just becuase I dont have the ProComp for my 2005 doesnt mean I dont own ProComp products. I have shocks on the 92' made by them, and they are crap. The PC lifts for earlier model trucks are a joke. Not to mention 4WP as a whole is a nightmare when it comes to customer service.

The Rancho kit for the earlier trucks is top notch, so I would expect nothing less than the same qauility on the kits for the newer trucks.

we are talking about the lifting a f150, nothing else. how can you bash on a lift you never had? if you got the es3000 shocks or whatver there cheap brand are they are probably crap, not because they are pro comp, but because their cheap.

you can say what you want, but ask the 150+ guys on here who run the kit and ask them if they are crap.

rancho better get a clue and start pricing their stuff accordingly before they are a thing of the past. they might make good stuff, but people are cheap. of all the guys that are lifted local, 2 guys outta like 25 are running rancho--me because i only paid under 1000 bucks and another buddy of mine who got it on a closeout deal. IMO rancho will be gone in 10 yrs or less from the suspension lift market. i can buy the procomp for a tad over 1300 bucks, you can hardly find the rancho for under 1900, 600 bucks is a chunk of cash and it usually is the deciding factor for people.
