I am looking to buy new Moto metal 958 20x9. I have 20x8 1/2 roush wheels now. I got the Nitto 305x50x20. The offset on the Moto metal 958's are -12.
Would I see a big difference if I did change rims?

I want the tires to stick out more is all I want. Would the rims make my tires stick out more?

 

when you are looking to buy new rims look at the offset of the rims.
the offset of the roush rims are like +38mm.
if the moto metals are -12mm, yes they will stick out a little more.

I believe the Roush offset is +38mm, so -12mm would move the centerline of the tire outboard 52mm or 1.97". They're going to stick out alright, perhaps more than you want. You might have clearance issues with the fenders when turning the front wheels.

 

I am just stuck here. I want the moto rims but I hate to get rid of my Roush rims.

I do want my tires to stick out and these roush rims will never let that happen. Thanks for the reply I apreciate it.

 

I have a 3" lift in the front. It will be fine.
