anyone else have this problem?

i was cruising earlier today with my roomy and went to go grab some food. and when we stopped he kept messing with the door and kept thinking it was locked or the handle was broken. i guess most people are used to hearing that clicking noise when opening a door, but i never noticed the f150 door is quiet. anyone else have their passangers think something was wrong with your just cuz it doesnt click like other doors?

I would have told him to quit messing with the handle.

The problem i have is my girlfriend always thinks my door is locked when she is getting out because the door doesnt pop open when you pull the handle. These doors on our NBS f150s are pretty heavy i guess. It has also happened with a few other people too.

I would have said "Christine does not like it when someone spills food on her seat."

Not everyone will get that joke, I'm sure.

I have manual locks so I'm not sure if it's the same with the guys with power locks, but you can see the lock rod pop up when you pull the handle to try and get out. I get what you're saying though.
