I recommend letting the pros do the tailgate shaving. That Ford emblem leaves a rather nice sized area to fill.

If I shaved mine I'd shave all the handles, emblems, the whole shebang.

No it's not just you. I had to get a new bumper I could paint and I didn't realize the bumper was fir the 04-06 truck. I've just been too lazy to raise the bumper up a little bit lol
