Last week for the 2nd time in about six months, a window regulator went bad in my truck causing the window to roll itself down permanently. Is this a known problem in these trucks? The regulator that went out last week was for my passenger rear (SuperCrew), and has literally likely only been rolled down a dozen times in its life.

Yes, several have been replaced, including one of mine.

 

I've replaced two of them. Poor design. My passenger window regulator failed and I hardly ever used it. My driver's window regulator failed and I used it frequently. Luck of the draw I suppose.
