We were north bound CA-95, from Parker, AZ to Las Vegas. Look in the rear view and see a Ford truck with a big Ford grille. Thought to myself, what an ugly rig.

It passed me and my copilot shot a few pics of the tailgate. MI plates.

Don't know about the OR package, but the exterior was way too busy for my taste. KISS folks will hate it.

 

 

At SEMA, they had ones that were super "busy" showing off a "Tear drop style paint job", and all kinds of extra crap. They did have more "tame" paint that was slightly more simple. If you remove all the stickers, and go aftermarket grill (once they start coming out) I think it would look like a beaut !

So far, I have only heard one being sold, it was a special auction and the truck sold for over $130k or something crazy like that. Wonder if that was the one you saw. It was the first off the line or something like that, don't remember the story now.

 

Thats a truck that should only be made in 2 colors....Gloss black and Satin black

 

maybe throw in a flat black to spice it up some !

The Blue Flame is pretty close...well, it's blue.

 

I just saw one on the road as well. I live in southeast MI though and see a lot of new stuff. I'm keeping my camera with me so I can get a pic. It was the hideous orange one but still bad a$$. I'm sure I will be seeing them more and more of them soon.

 

I am definitley a fan of the orange but I would only get that color if I lived in the desert somewhere. I really like the black and I think the white is a fresh color for it.
