Stick with Pioneer. I have the same sub in my truck and it pounds pretty good. Stay away from the Kicker and Alpine, Pioneer was the first to develop a shallow sub and they have it down to a science.

i had two pioneer premiere shallows under my rear seat. they sucked to say the least. weren't clean hitting at all, they were 12's, a few friends have the 10's and they hit 10x's cleaner and sound much better.

check out onlinecarstereo.com, they're pretty cheap.

I personally hate the sound of those pioneer shallows. My friend has one in his Dodge. I'd look at exile shallows or the JL tw5.
