Chrome gas lids

I just ordered my first upgrade for my truck..... a Roush crome grill

Now I'd like to get a chrome gas door for the side. Where do I find these ?

I guess I did get a couple things before ......a telescoping ice scraper and those boxes of tissue for the center consol.

2'' level kit and tires next.

Cool. Take some pics when you get the grill on.

But IMO those chrome gas cap things look out of place on our trucks.

Here's a freebie: https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...r-console.html

I've never seen any vehicle that they look good on.

Well......

as soon as I saw your post, I knew you would have a bunch of guys slamming the idea.

Personally speaking, I think they "can look" great...... but definately not in chrome..... or black (unless your truck is black) but rather, painted to match.

If I ever have anything else PTM'd (like maybe a new hood with scoops ;-) I'd go on and get a nice aftermarket gas cover, and have it PTM'd at the same time. Not worth it to have somebody set up a paint gun for 1 small, single part......

JMPO,
Fish

PS, BTW, I'd PTM it > even if < my truck had chrome elsewhere..... but the fact that my truck is blacked out, definately NOT chrome.
