painted 07 xlt wheels

i am thinking of painting my 07 xlt wheels black and keeping the chrome center caps. anyone have ANY pics of 07 xlt wheels painted in any way? I have a dark blue SCAB, tinted windows

I painted just the grey spokes and I really liked the look on my black turck.

I liked it. From across a parking lot, they looked slotted. I just could not stand the grey on a dark truck, Looked washed out and we have so much black trim on the trucks, I have no idea why Ford didn't make them black to start with.

I like the grey myself. But it matches my truck.

The grey looks good on silver or grey trucks and on the two tone where the lower part is almost that same color. But on dark colored trucks, to me, it adds an extra color that doen't go with anything.

-----exactly! that is how i feel about the grey. i may start with changing the spokes from grey to black.

Before I started my painting, I used some black electricians tape on the the spokes of a wheel, to get an idea how they would look. It varified to me, what I wanted to do. You might try something like that.
