You will still have power brakes... the vacuum booster is designed to provide approximately 5 stops before the vacuum is depleted.

(unless you have a bad check valve... then it could bleed down quicker)

This exact thing happened to my buddy with an 04 superduty. Pretty sketchy. It ended up being a bad sensor to his gas pedal. He almost rear ended a cop one time at a light. It took him three trips to the dealer for them to figure it out.
