Recirc Bypass

Is there anyway to bypass the recirc on the A/C? Reason I ask is because my truck was in the shop last week for the 6th time for a fuel smell in the cab and i think it may actually be gone. I found a wire connector on the floorboard when i picked my truck up and wanted to make sure they actually fixed the problem and didn't just wire the recirc to be on full time.

I highly doubt they would do that.

I hope so. Especially since I had to involve a lawyer to get my truck fixed and reimbursed.

Wow, it would definitely be in their best interest to not do that.

Isn't there a TSB floating around somewhere about a faulting fuel rail on the E150 and E250 vans with the 5.4L? Another member had this exact problem and it took his dealer quite a while to figure this out. Maybe showing the dealer the TSB will help your fuel smell problem?

Thanks. I did exactly that 2 months ago. I actually did a search on here and found about 5 threads concerning the same problem I was having and all of them resulted in a faulty injector (really the o rings). I linked all of those threads in an e-mail to them and they simply ignored them telling me that nothing was leaking. Until I got a lawyer involved that is. This last time they actually attempted the exact repairs mentioned in those threads which I believe is what fixed the problem.
