Gathering opinions on cosmetic style

Hello y'all.

Here is what I am thinking:

-black headlight housings (already done, except I left just a touch of chrome around the "ring" of the turn signals so it matches the headlight's little ring)

-HD grille painted silver around the edges, but keep the crossbars chrome.

-the door handles thare PTM, but the handle itself is chrome (can someone help me out with what these came off of so I can find them?)

-PTM the entire mirror (smooth out the textured plastic and prep it properly), but add the chrome mirror caps rather than PTM

I'm not sure how that would look, but I don't think having everything painted silver would look good. I think the chrome accent on the mirror cap, door handles and grille cross bars would look nice with the chrome bumpers on the truck. What is everyone's thoughts on this? What are those door handles called? Eventually I will get some nicer rims as well, but for now these will have to do.

Here is my truck as it sits right now

I've already done this to the badges, so I think the chrome accents will work well with them

I've never thought about those before, but they would probably look nice!

An idea that I had previously was to get the bumpers, and rocker panels Line-X'd with the Line-X extra in the Dark Shadow Gray color (some silver trucks had that two-toned from the factory) and then installing the FX4 fender trim to tie it all in. Of course, I decided against that as soon as I got the quote from my local Line-X dealer... the protection from stone chips would be nice, but for the money I can pay to have my paint touched up a whole bunch of times. Those SS rocker panels would be a happy medium I bet.

yeah, the Line-X is just too expensive unless you do it yourself

even then, I'm a bit paranoid about putting it on the outside body panels of a truck that I paid so much money for

I like the line-x idea, but I would tone down the chrome if you go the line-x route.

I would tone it down... heck, the fornt and rear bumpers would esentially be PTM, but with Line-X instead of paint. other than that, it'd be about the same.
