Help... seat belt chime, and yes i searched!!!

ok i just bought a 05 fx4. the damn seat belt chime will not stop chiming wether the seat belt is plugged in or not. didnt do it once to me, but has since. and yes the cannon plug from the connector is connected,. i found where you wait for the light to go off and plug unplug the buckle 9 times then wait for the airbag light to come on then buckle and unbuckle again... well i do this within the 50 sec after the seat belt light goes off and i never get a airbag light. while sitting after the 9th time and waiting on the airbag light the dinging will start again. i tired this several times and i know that i'm doing it right. i searched again and found the process with the lights. is this the case with the 05's? i'll try it in the am but i would figure it would work how the manual says. also, the truck had a double din tv in it before and has the fac radio back in it. the airbag ligth above the radio does not work and the 2 wires are not hooked up since the cannon plug broke. could that be part of the problem?

One time disable
If at any time the driver/front passenger quickly buckles then unbuckles
the BeltMinder feature for that seating position, the BeltMinder is
disabled for the current ignition cycle. The BeltMinder feature will
re-enable during the same ignition cycle if the occupant buckles and
remains buckled for approximately 30 seconds. Confirmation is not given
for the one time disable.
Deactivating/activating the BeltMinder feature
The driver and front passenger BeltMinder are
deactivated/activated independently. When deactivating/activating
one seating position, do not buckle the other position as this will
terminate the process.
Read Steps 1 - 4 thoroughly before proceeding with the
deactivation/activation programming procedure.
The driver and front passenger BeltMinder features can be
deactivated/activated by performing the following procedure:
Before following the procedure, make sure that:
• The parking brake is set
• The gearshift is in P (Park) (automatic transmission)
• The ignition switch is in the OFF position
• The driver and front passenger safety belts are unbuckled
2005 F-150 (f12)
Owners Guide (post-2002-fmt)
USA (fus)
Seating and Safety Restraints
122
To reduce the risk of injury, do not deactivate/activate the Belt
Minder feature while driving the vehicle.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN (or ON) position. (DO NOT
START THE ENGINE)
2. Wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (Approximately 1
minute)
• Step 3 must be completed within 50 seconds after the safety belt
warning light turns off.
3. For the seating position being disabled, buckle then unbuckle the
safety belt 9 times, ending in the unbuckled state. (Step 3 must be
completed within 50 seconds after the safety belt warning light turns
off.)
• After Step 3, the restraint system warning light (airbag light) will be
turned on for three seconds.
4. Within 10 seconds of the light turning on, buckle then unbuckle the
safety belt.
• This will disable the BeltMinder feature for that seating position if it
is currently enabled. As confirmation, the restraint system warning
light will flash 4 times per second for 3 seconds.
• This will enable the BeltMinder feature for that seating position if it
is currently disabled. As confirmation, the restraint system warning
light will flash 4 times per second for 3 seconds, followed by 3
seconds with the light off, then followed by the restraint system
warning light flashing 4 times per second for 3 seconds again.

also i brought it to the dealer today and its not the seat belt chime its the warning chime saying somethings messed up. i had like 7 air bag codes. i'm going to try to bring it back to the little dealer i got it from and maybe get another truck or let them fix all the problems.
the truck has a miss to it when you try to accelerate hard. passing gear for example
the truck also has what appears to be a 6" lift when in fact its leveling kits put together some how. the upper controll arm is hitting the springs. i found this out today when i was trying to have it aligned.

The UCA is hitting with it sitting on the ground or when its jacked up? Mine touches the spring when jacked up, but levels out when sitting on the ground.

Once you sign the papers, its yours! If the dealer is a good dealer and wants to keep a good reputation, they may work with you but legally, they don't have to.
