Leveling kit install

How hard it is? just orderd my hell bent 2.5 kit yesterday. I was wondering could I use spring compressers to comptress the strut and put the spacer on top so i could leave the strut in the truck? Just bouncein ideas around.. Thanks!

coil-over has to come out of the truck. no way out of it


no spring compressor needed...unless you bought the kind that goes inside the coil-over.


you got the one that goes ontop right? (hopefully)

hell bent is the metal top piece.

You have to get the strut out and bolt the kit ontop of the strut. The system will have studs which then feed into the towers. I watched them do mine and other than walking around half asleep and eating breakfest the whole thing didn't seem very exhausting, if you know what your doing im sure.

Im about to watch them pull mine back out too!

I have done 3 kit installs and its pretty simple, there is a good thread in the how to part of the forum

very simple job with the right tools. you will need a pretty big socket and cresent wrench to take the bolt out lower strut. wish I could remember what size it is but it's big. other than that basic hand tools and little bit if time.
