Running ipod cable to console?

Hello. For the past hour or so I have been installing a Nav unit (pioneer avic) into the truck. I have an '04 Screw w/ center console. My original plan was to run the ipod cable back into the center console compartment and I would like to still do so. My only problem is I cannot figure out how to get it there. Can someone give me some help as to how to get the console out? or how to run this wire? or how to get the compartment and/or lid off? Any help, and pictures, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Ste

ps... soon as this is done I can get some pics for the FX4 thread!

Its very easy just open the lid to your console and grab the trim with the cup holders around the shifter and pull up. TONS of space under there. There is a space on the left of the shift i believe where its the easiest to pull the cable through. This is where i have my ipod video cable going to run movies off my ipod to my head unit. everything is clean and out of site. hope this helps.

My ipod i keep in the truck controlled by head unit is in glove box, my touch is also always with me and used for movies and such and easier for control in console.

Alright, I figured it out it was VERY easy as the second poster said. I pryed the front of the center console up (where the two cup holders and shifter are) and removed that. Then removed the back part, couple screws you will see. Then I had access to the whole console. ran the wires through and done. Did not take any progress pics (as I was kind of in a hurry) but I will post pics of the completed setup!
