Hey I'm new here and new to trucks. I just bought a '07 Supercrew. My other ride is a '99 Z28. I am interested in getting a bull bar but don't know which companies make quality products. I like the look of the Aries bull bar. I've also looked at westin. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

 

I'm looking for a bullbar and nerfs bars myself. I have not decided on a brand myself, but I do know this. I used some Westlin nerf and brush guard on my older z-71 I had a few years ago. They rusted from the inside out. So one thing for sure I will do is when I do finally get some for my truck I will paint the insided with some sort of sealer. By the way I just took off a set of black nerf bars that had rusted pretty heavy on the inside.

 

I'd look at Westin.

 

I have had both brands. Westin and Aries, not much difference in them. I bought an 01 250 sevral years ago and it had the westin bar, then traded for a 06 250 and i put a aries on it. Liked both and they seemed to be made very good. I can tell you the aries was around 75 bucks cheaper.

x2 best one you can buy. i have had both black and stainless ones. i seen people have the cheap chromes ones all rusted to heck. i love seeing new lifted trucks on ebay with generic bull bars on them, just makes me laugh 150 bull bar on a 45 thousand dollar truck

 

Don't forget you will lose your tow hooks.
