Truck tool boxes

Just switched to a super cab ? ( double doors) 2007 f-150 with short bed. Anyone knows what kind of tool box would fit with the shortened space from the wheel wells.

would prefer a low profile b0x, had one in my extended cab

Mudshark1018, I assume you mean the supercrew (2 sets of full size doors) with the 5.5' bed, like my truck. The supercab has one set of full size doors and a set of suicide 3/4 size doors.

To answer your question though, I bought mine from Tractor Supply Company. It's the black, low profile box. $250. If you sign up online, they might still have the $5 coupon. Also, what I did was bought a gift card off eBay. I think it was a $150 I bought for only $100. Saved me $50.

Let me find the pic, and I'll upload.

For some reason, it's $300 online but only $250 in store.

Yes, J-hooks bolt to the bedrails. I installed it with a deep socket before I rolled out of the TSC parking lot. Took 5 minutes.

X2 on tractor supply. Mine was great until I ditched it for a roll up tonneau.

Thanks Freddy that is exactly what I am looking for ( that is the same truck the company gave me. ) just got back looking for a box but all they had was a 48" chest box that sat on the bed. Like yours better.
