regular paint works fine, just put on a good number of coats to help with rock chipping and stuff

prep work is the key tho.

What kind of prep work? like pressure wash the frame and axle?

Can you spray the drive shaft or should i not mess with that?

it should, i painted my differential cover with some cheapo spray paint while i was bored about two years ago and its held up great

a pressure washer did a great job getting all the road gunk off my frame so if you have one it wouldnt really hurt to use it.

driveshaft should be fine too, i dont think spray paint is heavy enough to throw it out of balance or anything

I don't think paint will last too long on your leaf springs unless you are getting something urethane based. Springs flex. Paint doesn't.

por15 is beast, i agree

i used it on the frame of my 69 i used to have, its pretty pricey tho, and if you dont get a good topcoat on it the sun erodes it

once i applied it tho i tried sandblasting it off and even just smacking it with a sledge hammer and neither did anything lol
