Now I know why I like this forum so much better

I had just signed onto that OTHER forum, www.fordf150.net, posted a thread to sell my tires, this is what the idiot writes back:

Ah, sorry, I've got those tires. They suck and are chunking at 10,000 miles. I was hoping you had some different tires on yours and would just sell me the tires. Sorry, but good luck with the sale.

This was my reply:Thanks for the kind words. That will really help me sell the tires. Next time keep your negative comments to yourself. It would have been no problem to sell just the tires.

Post back that your brother had the same problem but it was his ball joints and bad alighnment and knock him for not maintaining his truck, and the second set of the same tire has had no problem in the last 30,000 miles. Some guys are just @sses and need to be treated as such.

Uh, excuse me -- by copying his post here - and I agree it was unnecessary and inappropriate - haven't you just done to yourself here on this forum what your blaming him for doing to you on the other forum?

You're right - I'm on 3 Ford truck forums and this one is the best by far!

No, not here at this site. As stated above, there is most likely a reason why. And if I felt that I would contribute to the problem on this forum I would have not posted it. I just feel that after reading so many threads here that there are a different and more mature and educated group to be dealing with here.

I find several of the same members on several of the Ford sites I frequent. There are idiots all over, problem is most of them don't know they're idiots.

I just wanted to reiterrate that I feel the amount of knowledge on this site, the way the post are written, and the feeling of actually belonging to SOMETHING is just not found on the other site. Thanks again guys, for everything. I have posted numerous questions already, and each time have had a balance of opinions, conclusive answers, and resolution of each issue. Great to be on this one!

I agree! I'm on about 2 or 3 other ford forums, but ever since I found this place it's the only one I visit anymore. More knowledge here and people that are willing to help.

I was on the other forums, but eventually realized that this one is by far the best.

More experienced members, not so many jack-offs, a cleaner/better flowing website, ect.

F150.net is a more "freer" forum than the this and FTE. The mods, if any, let alot of crap slide. This results in a pretty juvenile dilenquent forum.

Been a member over there for a while, but I never visit because of the poor layout and the general stupidity.

FTE is a pretty good place, but they don't get near as much traffic. More oriented towards the Superduty IMO

btw, kinda have to agree with Smokin Lariat.
