Truck prices going up?

Been looking at used 2004-2008 prices since last fall, and looks like
prices are about 1-2k more from what they were even a month ago.
This is in Michigan, anyone else noticing this?

man I hope so! Trucks have always held good value till the gas prices went up to $5.00 a gallon. Now that they went back down hoping the value goes back up on the trucks!

The past year was the BEST time to buy one when the value on the trucks were way down. I havnt priced them in a while been to scared too!

yeah they went up alot, especially real nice loaded ones, i was looking at lariats recently and they are nuts! they had a used mark lt and a lariat for the same price(same year, options, close in mileage, that's retarded IMO, but f150's seem to be more popular, so there go supply and demand again. even on ebay the lifted trucks are becoming more scarce, there used to be pages of lifted trucks, now there is usually less than a page.

I just booked my truck and the price has gone up $1000 from 2 months ago, clean trade-in is up to $14,500! Not too bad considering I paid $20,000 for it over 3 years ago and I just paid it off for $9,300. So it looks like I was far from upside down on it

Bingo.

In the last year, the Federal Reserve(not Govt) printed more dollars than it had in it's entire lifespan from when it began up to last year.

Soon, a loaf of bread will cost 10 dollars.

I don't want to go find out how much my truck would be worth. I don't plan on selling it anywhere remotely close to the near future, if I ever do.

Inflation is stupid.

I'm not selling mine any time soon, I am concerned about the value in case some moron decides to back out in front of me or something and total my truck. I have to get gap insurance because if I ever totalled my truck I would be upside down about 3 grand

You guys are absolutely correct. I purchased a 04 Supercab with 57000 miles on it from a dealer for $10,500 in January. Suggested retail at the time on KBB.com was about $14,990. A couple weeks ago the value increased to $16,010. Just checked again and it is now at $16,910. If this keeps up I'll trade it next month for a new truck and some cash. LOL.

I bought my loaded 2005 FX4 w/ 30k miles, leveling kit, wheels & 35" tires in perfect shape last November for just under 18k. At that time, NADA trade in was around 16k and clean Retail was 18,500.

Just looked at the same thing today and the same numbers are now 18,500 and 21,600. So they are definitely looking up, utit doesn't concern me much and I don't care much. Its going to be quite some time before I ever part with it.
