Im in the market for a fx4, and found a red one. Its a 2004 with 71000 on it. The guy is asking 14,000 but im sure i can get him lower. Now the problem is, its red! I dont really have an opinion about it, but never thought I would buy a red truck. I would usually leave that color for a ferarri or a corvette. Whats the consensus here? What are your opinions. I know that if i like the color get what I want, red or not, but i just want to hear your opinions.

 

i never heard the gay thing? my truck is red and have 3 other red trucks of course mine was the last 04 on the lot and was discounted $10,000 so it could have been pink and i still would have got it 10 grand verses 2500 paint

 

im a little biased but red is a good color, I wont own a truck that isnt red

 

Yeah, I know, if the price is right, and its generally what im looking for, the color shouldnt really matter, not that I wouldnt own a red truck, just never thought about it. Always thought about silver or black... thats really the only colors i see around me... oh and white too. But i do not want a white truck.

Yes, I have a red truck. I'm pretty sure it's not gay. It's never turned suddenly to the direction of another truck by itself. Do you mean the driver being gay because they have a red truck? I've been married for 16 years and have 3 kids. If I'm gay it would be news to me, my wife and kids.

I've always like red vehicles. Bitch to keep clean, though.

 

Red is one of my top three favorite color's available for the F150. Now if you would have said purple or pink then yes I would say that's a gay color for a 4wd truck!

 

take a look at FX4Life's red monster, enough said. the only way his truck and gay should be in the same sentence would be this way "it's gay that i don't own it" lol i don't think they make a bad color f150 IMO. they all can be make look badass

I took the gay comment out. It was uncalled for from the beginning. The only reason I said gay is because i know a guy with a red truck, and i think he's a little feminine. I apologize to whom I have offended. Just wanted opinions on red trucks, thats all.

Obviously just kidding! Red is an awesome color... especially when its all nice and waxed. It also gives you the choice of picking whether to go with a red/chrome theme or a red/black theme, or a little bit of both (my choice).

 

I never saw myself driving a red car/truck. But now I'm on my 3rd red one. It just looks so good when it is all polished up.

 

Mines a red FX4...Got a good deal when I bought it. I'm not a real big red fan, but I did the black out thing with mine to tone the fire engine red down a bit and it has kinda grown on me.

 

On my 3rd Red FX4. don't think it's gay....not that ther'e anything wrong with that

A lot of owners with red trucks speaking up. I'll join them -- I love my red truck.

It's all in the eyes of the beholder. I had to search in a 200-mile radius to find a red FX4 with the options I wanted. It was worth it.
