frustrated with me truck

Hey guys,

I am really disappointed with my truck lately. I have done a bunch of stuff to it over the last 4 months and I feel like I have wasted my time and money. First I will list all of my mods and important details:

Corsa 3" cat-back exhaust
AF1 3" CAI
new Motorcraft plugs and fuel filter changed about 8k miles ago
Troyer efans
Troyer under drive pulleys
Edge Evolution running stage 3 performance with 93 octane fuel
Toyo Open Country AT 275/28/65
115k Miles
Castrol Syntec 5w-20
Castrol Mercon5 ATF

Here is what I am experiencing. I have crap for power anymore below 4k RPM. My average MPG (per Dash Display) has dropped from 15.6 down to 13.3 and seems to be dropping every week. I drive the truck hard, but I always have. I am trying to figure out how to upgrade my Edge to a Gryphon, but their sight is confusing. I am afraid that I will be spending more money for more disappointment. I love my truck, but everything after the Edge has been a disappointment.

Any advice would be welcomed. I plan on keeping this truck until the wheels fall off. Maybe I should just pony up and buy a low mileage motor and do a swap. oh, BTW. My truck started making a nasty noise friday night. It sounds like a rattle in low rpms. It's not spark knock. Is it possible it's a cat or heatshield?

You forgot new o2 sensors!

At 115k I'm surprised you don't have a CEL blaring in your face.

That should correct your problem.

Most likely your truck has been running lean with the 3" AF1 without a custom tune. You should reinstall your stock intake until you get your edge upgraded to a gryphon. I know I don't have any room to talk since i'm running an aftermarket intake without a custom tune. I'm just trying to help you out a little though. If your engine has been running lean for a long period of time then that could very well be why your engine is making noises now. If your truck has the 4.6 v8 then disregard my post.

True... I keep changing my at 10k and still find it gunked up pretty good with sediment.

Not to deter from the topic, but I hate how Ford made some of the new vehicles with fuel tank fuel filters... nix me out of buying one of those.

My Dakota has one in the tank, and I'm dreading this summer when I drop the tank... I'll probably replace the fuel pump while I got it torn apart.

All of my research has found that it makes little difference unless it's throwing a code. I pulled up the Line pressure desired and fuel rail pressure on my Edge.
The LPD=56 and the FRP=40. Does that sound close to being right?
