ok i know the wheels i want. but the porblem is i cant make up my mind on the size. i really dont want to add a lot of weight, i dont want to hurt my braking or handling. the boss 330's in 20in only weight like 30Ibs a wheel which i believe is close to what the stock 18's weigh. i dont know i guess i just need some help deciding. thanks

 

I don't know anything about your truck, but what look are you going for?

 

do the wheels show a lot of the brakes?
if they do, 22's would make them look even smaller.
BUT, that's the perfect reason to get a big brake kit too...

 

I have 22's on my 07 Screw with 305/45's and it handles and performs better than my stock 255/70-17's. Braking isn't an issue either, these are big heavy trucks, the braking system is built for them.

 

That's my experience with my 05 Expy.

 

Go with the 22's. The Boss 330 is a great looking wheel. I had them in 22" and now 24". I think the 20's will look too small.

ok so i think i am sold on the boss 330's in 22. now what tire size do i go with? i really want toyo proxes tires

 

305/40/22 or 305/45/22. I see that you have an FX4 so I would go with a 305/45. Toyo also makes a AT tire in a 305/45 and 305/50/22.

 

go with the 305/45/22 will fill up the wheel well nicely on your fx4

i am planning on the roush suspension kit tho so i am not worries about filling the well. plus i dont want to mess up the speedo

 

Price the tires in both sizes and see if that doesn't help your decision.

 

well i bought the roush 22in wheels. gor a good deal on them and wanted a forged wheel so i got them.

 

The price difference isn't that much. Right at $100
