Thanks

I thought about doing that also, I found these a while back and thought they looked pretty cool. I did find some with a longer LED strips but cant find the site. Im guessing they can be hooked up with dome lights.

I added a four ft. LED tube under the truck beside the frame and tied into the dome wires. Right now the brackets are the ones with holes for a garage door opener. I am getting a metal bender to do custom bends and put them on right. I didn't do the pass side yet. My Big Rig amber LEDs do shine on the steps but the park lights have to be on. I have pics of the Big Rig lights in my gallery but none of the white tubes yet.

better yet - here is the link to find and buy from a middle man

http://superbrightleds.com/mini_tubes.htm

I have used these kits before and the benefit is you can easily mod/ mount them anywhere. On each unit's description is a electrical diagram on how to hook them up...

The Real Truck guys have several thing you should look at. I think these might do the trick too.

Josiah added light steps on his amps, i think it was a pink wire of something he had to tap into. i think Tylus had some wiring diagrams.
