I just saw that about an hour ago. I just went to their site and it looks like for me, with shipping since we don't have a 4wheelparts store near us, it was be right around $400.

if your going to pay a shop to do it, i would say that it should take NO MORE than 2 hours total time...... it is very easy to do. the 2 hours is a high guess, and that would include all time needed to remove stock coil/strut, and swap the coil onto the bilstein unit then re-install.

yes, you will need the alignment re-checked.... but, you should only have to get the toe setting re-set.

I know what you mean

So if I already have a 2"AS would it be best to set those at 0 or is there a non-adjustable Bilstein that would be better for me. How would it look with it set on 1"?

You could just set the Bilsteins at 0 or you could set them at 2" then sell you AS.

What shocks would I purchase from that page if I already had a 2.5" leveling kit and just wanted to replace the stock shocks?

Just a heads up on the install price. When i was shopping around the cost varied greatly from shop to shop. I ended up going to pep boys. It took about 2 hours and the cost was $104 after tax. You will only need an alignment if you use the lift option.

If you want to replace the stock shocks, you can get any replacement shock and keep your leveling kit. You can get the Yellow Std Bilsteins or get ethe 5100 series, but run them at the 0" lift position. You cant run the 5100's on a lift setting AND a leveling kit at the same time..

But like I said, if you want to keep the spacers you already have, any shock will work. Nothing special needed since you have not changed the suspension dynamics..

I just placed an order for the HD's for my 04. I already have an AS 2" kit so decided to save a few bucks and not get the 5100's. Total delivered was $316.80 for all four. Best I found elsewhere (Ebay) was $334 delivered.

I got a quote from Pepboys of $104.52 for install and alignment for the fronts. I installed my AS kit myself, but for only about $40 more than a bare alignment I think I'll let them handle the install on these.

Total for all four installed and aligned should be just under $425.

Thanks for the heads up OP!

No. But the four you buy don't have to be identical to get one free. I ordered qty 2 of the fronts and 2 of the rears. My order showed a discount equal to the price of one of the rears.

Can you please link me to the proper 5100 shocks for the front and rear? I have no idea what I am looking at.

I see the link but, I'm not sure which ones I need for the front and the rear. I have an 04 FX4 SCREW.
