Quick question. Any of you 04-08 guys tried to swap on a 2009 tailgate with the step? I know its possible to do it on the 99-07 Superduties using the 08-09 and ends up looking pretty sharp, plus you get the cool step. Just wondering out loud here...

 

You buy the tailgate in DSG and we will try it out. It's a win win situation. You find out the answer and I get a new tailgate.

It might be the same height and width, but it looks like it is shaped differently. I don't think the body lines would match up correctly.

 

Ya know, I was gonna get you one for your graduation anyways...

 

It may have to be for a Tacoma if your getting me one for graduation. I bet you never seen that one coming. Or if not the tailgate a good dowpayment on a Lexus would work as well.
