It's been a while. a long while. seems as though when i put the truck away for the winter, i turned all my attention to the new rig, but now that spring is right around the corner, I can focus on the mistress more and more.

I'm not sure where the build thread went, but these were some of the last pictures last year...









Now i have to figure out what to do to it this year... but with the wedding right around the corner, i forsee a rearview mirror slung air freshener.

I've never really warmed up to the whole lowered truck scene, but holy ****e! Your truck really is amazing to look at!

That paint job almost looks photoshop'ed. Awesome work! Very tasteful!

Dude Im in love with the hood on that truck. The paint colors really go well together. 5 star! Is that hood a one-off?

 

rms - the bed is a color i mixed up using dupont Hot Hues Champagne Fizz and instead of laying a pearl over it, i mixed gold pearl in with the paint. it's so reflective it lights up like a stop sign when headlights hit it just right. the champagne fizz color is a little lighter than Ford's Arizona beige, and more mettallic.

Welcome back. Was wondering where that truck disappeared to.

 

I was wondering since from the couple of pics, it looks very similar to Smokestone (color of my truck) which also is a champagne type color, much lighter than AB.
