Steering wheel removal

I am in the process of taking off my dash for the flow through console upgrade. I have read every thread on this site about removing the steering wheel. I tried pulling it by hand with no luck. I have read that I may need a jaw puller? With this tool work. Any advice would be great.

take the bolt loose but NOT OFF and lean the seat back a bit and grab at 3 and 9 and pull like crazy rocking back and forth. Some times i have taken a air hammer to the bolt for a brief second with my knees underneath pulling at the same time may take 2 people.
