what's this underdash pictures...
They don't look like the Trailer brake plug to me....
Here is what it look likes with it being plugged in.
(trailer brake plug is in the middle. lower right corner is the obd ii plug)

Not sure what those other plugs are that you have.....I have been under my dash a bunch of times and don't recall seeing any unused plugs. I will have to check next time to see if I find any.

If you have an aftermarket alarm/remote start, whatever in you new truck, why are you probing around under the dash? Do you realize that it is cheaper to wire a vehicle for almost any factory add on prior to its completion, than to put it in only a few that come down the line? Almost all 97 and newer Ford trucks are already wired for fog lights, just have to put them in and replace the switch. But, the Ford aftermarket will sell you a kit for about $300 to install what is already there. Go figure. Not every plug will be hooked up to something. That's the way it is now. Cheaper to make one harness, then hook up whatever is needed, than to make 15 harnesses to accomodate all the different options.
The smaller plug is for the message center alarm that mounts under the dash on the upper drivers side of the dash. Your truck doesn't have the message center but the wiring harness is all the same. The just don't have the components. Saves costs not having to make a bunch of different harnesses. I will look through the EVTM at work on Monday and see if I can find an answer for your grey plug.
You do have an aftermarket alarm system installed. The black box with the white adjustment **** is the vibration sensor. The dial changes the sensitivity of the sensor. If you look again, those fuses are not factory. It may be a Ford alarm, but no 04-08 F150 has an alarm from the factory as an option. It has to be installed at the dealer. I have spent ALOT of time under the dash of these trucks. If you remove the 5.5mm screw under the column the lower shroud with pop loose if you pull down. The tilt is only friction applied. You can see the whole thing with the shroud off.
