4 options, 1 choice (help!)

Okay gang, I've been putting a little away each week for my truck. It's about time for my next addition. I've got a couple options and was looking for a few opinions and some feedback.

Options:

1) Roush grille ptm - I love how zeruin's and IDNC's trucks look blacked out with the black Roush, but I'm worried about chipping and having to deal with it. I also like the look of the H-bar but could go either way here. ($100+paint, eBay)

2) Weather Tech floor liners for front - I can't put in the rear floorliners due to my sub, but I really need some front ones. I pulled out the cheapo Wal-Mart mats because they were wearing out far too fast. Also didn't like the fact that the cheapos were half carpet. I only have the bare factory carpet right now and I really don't want to mess it up. ($85, Amazon)

3) HIDs - Just got some front window tint put on and although it's hard to tell a difference one can never be too safe. Plus it would look bad@ss. Would get heads and fogs both. ($160 from DDM, $225 from Xenonlink)

4) Toolbox - Not sure whether or not a black low-profile toolbox would kill the clean look or not. I really need something to keep my tools/cleaning supplies in, though. Would probably be the most expensive option... ($300+)

Sooooooo, what would you guys do?

weathertechs then HID's...no toolbox or roush grille...the roush grilles are such an inexpensive mod that they seem to be way too common, whereas the PTM grille on your truck is not common at all. and a toolbox wouldnt flow too well with your rig IMHO, I dont think it does on mine either, but I gotta keep stuff somewhere

Wow thanks for the quick replies, fellas. So two for mats and one for toolbox. KCS I thought about what you said in the other thread about the scoop, but I'd want it to be functional and they are a little too expensive for me right now.

Man I'll sell you this thing for $25. I used it for 1 month before getting my toolbox. It's 20" tall so you can measure I think it barely sticks above the rails, but you can measure. That way you can also take it out and it wont mess with your look too much.

You can pick it up next weekend at the meet up here if you're coming.

I would say Weathertechs and then HID's. I am not sure if Amazon is still running the deal on Weathertechs that they have before, but when I bought mine they were $47ish for the fronts. That would last for a few days then the price would go back up to 85 for another 2-3 weeks. Then it would drop below 50 again for another couple days, then back up. Just keep watching Amazon and see if that is still happening, then you might be able to get both the Weathertechs and HID's.

4x4 I appreciate the offer but I think my options for storage will either be a low-pro box or a tonneau cover. I have actually been keeping up with your thread there and considered coming, but I'm far too busy at the moment with work and school. Would love to sometime, though. Maybe if you guys meet up over the summer!

KCS, thanks buddy!

PHS, I've seen a couple of the threads with the amazon deals and was wondering about that. Thanks for clearing it up, I'll keep my eye out.

i have the oem floormats, and i always think OEM is the best way to go on some things. never seen an aftermarket set i really liked.

my friends ext. cab taco is fully murdered out with the same wheels and he has a black low pro and it looks really good.

i would do your HID's and tint your fogs first tho to finish murkin out your truck then consider a tool box. what about blacking out your tail pipes if you haven't already

Do you have any pics of your buddy's Taco with the box? I don't think I'm gonna tint my fogs because I use them all the time. With HIDs I won't quite as much but there are some pretty dark roads around here so I will still use them. And tails are black already.

I'd go with a black low profil tool box...
