Airbag Light and Seat Belt Chime Problem

A couple months ago the seat belt chime in my truck started acting up. I would be driving down the road with my seat belt on, and the seat belt light would come on in the gauge cluster and the seat belt chime would start going off acting like I did not have my seat belt on. I would unbuckle and re-buckle the seat belt multiple times and sometimes the chime would go off and sometimes it would not go off. The next time I would get in the truck it would not do it, but then the next 2 times in the truck it would do it. It just seemed random. Eventually I got sick of listening to the seat belt chime when I had my seat belt on, so I deactivated the chime.

Another problem that I have is the airbag light on the gauge cluster will flash when I start the truck up (did not count the flashes) and then stay on. The airbag light has been on for a month or two now. It's not random, it is always on

Anyone have any ideas for these 2 problems?

Bump....

Could either of these problems have been created by me disconnecting all the connections under both driver and passenger seats and then re-connecting all those connections later, after I installed new seat covers?

it may have been effected by that, make sure they are connected up correctly. When my airbag light was on, it was the crash sensor which was about 300 bones.
