not asking anything...the topic is about what trucks have the 1 inch blocks in the rear.

some say they dont have them and do have a tow package...i was trying to verify that its the 2006+ 2wd supercrews with factory tow package that do...and guys with a 2004 standard cab with no tow package cant figure out why they dont have them...

the questions was to the earlier trucks that do not have the blocks, do they have a two piece drive shaft if thier truck is a supercrew???

I have an early built 2005 (11/04) supercrew with towing package. I have the two piece driveshaft and did not have the 1" blocks. I now have 2" lowering shackles.

so it does help narrow it down to 2006 or newer supercrews 2wd with factory tow package do have it....2004 and 2005s do not have blocks in any configuration in 2wd...can this be confirmed...does anyone with a 2004 or 2005 have the blocks in a 2wd??? or is 2006 the first year of the blocks and it looks like it ended in 2007...are there any 2008's with the blocks in 2wd setup???

No blocks on mine from the factory. 2008 XLT SCREW 4x2 with the 4.6L. I added the 2" Fabtech blocks myself.

this is the only 4x2 with a block...the 2007+ models (when the FX2 was introduced)

4x2 - no block...tow package or not
FX2 - 1" block if it has the 5.4/tow package
4x4 - 1 5/8" (2") block
