Problem
Try getting another relay, one with 5 pins. The put the new one in unmodified and make sure everything works like it should. If they all work when they should then bend the pin over on the new relay and try the bambi mod again.
Also, look in the socket where the relay goes and see if there is a terminal where the missing pin shoud be. The hole or slot will be be there but ford might have removed the terminal.
The terminal should look like the end of a female blade connector just like the one you put on the relay.

I did this mod on my '06 using the info from that link and it works great. You don't need a relay with 5 pins. On my '06 it has 4 pins like your truck. I would double check that you bent over the correct pin and check your ground.
Any pics of what you did?

mines 06 too so they come with 4 im guessing.. well i removed the experiment and connected the relay normally and the high beams arent working at all.. fuse? bulb? what can be the problem?
I can't remember if the hi/lo beams are on spereate circuts but when I did this mod on my 07' I only had 4 pins on the relay. I would double check to make sure that the correct terminal has been bent over and that the new ground wire is good. If you are careful you can bend the terminal straight and put it back in to see if things work like they did before.

Alright, you said that when you pull the turn signal lever toward you the hi's come on but when you push the lever forward to activate the hi beams you get nothing. I would look in the owners manual for a hi beam fuse cause the bulbs are working when you do the "flash your lights" thing. If the fuse is good all that is left is a bad relay and that you will need to pick up from the dealership.
