I just traded my 2002 SuperCrew for a 2008. I love the new truck except for one thing. It has the "black hole" console in the front. I noticed that the console is bolted to the frame Noticing that, can someone with the 40/20/40 tell me if the middle seat is separate from the two captains chairs? And if it is, is there someplace you can find a new one to simply put in. I miss the ability to carry a total of 6 and always loved going to drive-in movies and being able to use the whole front seat!

Yes, you can just swap out the console with the seat/console. I did the oppposite switch.

Sounds like you have the middle console and want the jump seat. Many people are looking for the opposite so they would be up for trading with you.
