Hoping to get some suggestions...Thanks!
I just bought this truck a few days ago. I love the truck... It's a 2004 Lariat 4x4, 144k. I'm the second owner. Amsoil since new. Was able to get it for $7500. Anyway, was hope to get some advice on what to do with the truck. I would like to level out the front, not a lift. What should I do? Don't worry, the cap will come off in the summer, It came with the truck. Also would like a throaty exhaust, doesn't have to be dual tips, just a single is fine. And, if you could name some ballpark prices that would be great. I was also thinking 35% tint on front windows and once the tires wear out, bigger ones. Now, the leveling would torsion bars be good? Do I have to do anything to the back? How much is that? Does it cause any problems? I think that's all the questions I have. If you have any other "musts" or ideas, let me know. I appreciate all replies!!

Get a 2.5" Autospring for 68 dollars shipped on Ebay. Install it yourself. Good with the cap. Just rip out the stock muffler. Throw in a flowmaster if you want throaty and single tip. Flowmaster for just the muffler put in place. Probably around 100-120 If I had to guess. T bars, you can do yourself for free. But I'm pretty sure the 2004 F150s do NOT have T bars.Tint be around 50 dollars for just the front two Windows. Personally I'd get a tuner which depending on what you get anywhere from 300-500 dollars. Just depends what ya want man. Good luck with it!
Great looking truck. Just had to turn mine back in last week. You could look at Magnaflow, Roush, Flowmaster. You can expect a ballpark of $300 to $500 depending on if you install it yourself, or get it done at a shop.
Appearance wise there's also alot you can do. Here's one of the most updated pics I had of my truck, ignore it being dirty. Also it had a 2" leveling kit in the front with the stock tires in the pic.

What I would do is get the 2 1/2 inch autospring, get that put on, tint the windows, and then go to a shop and have them put on dual exhaust.
I love how mine sounds for the price that I paid.
After the cats mine is just 2 1/2 inch pipe and then 3 or 3 1/2 inch tips and I only paid $200 bucks.

First off welcome. There is no torsion bar on the 04+ so you will need a leveling kit. How are your shocks? Bilstein has 2'' leveling shock that improves your ride dramaticly. I would go that route instead of the AutoSprings. I had both and the leveling shocks are a lot better. But you can do the A.S. with new shocks if you need them also. Exhaust is your choice and there should be a few sound clips here or on Youtube. The cap doesnt look bad on your truck but if you sell it you could genarate more money for other mods. Good luck the truck looks good.
