I’ve been thinking about putting in (2) 12v cigarette adapter electrical ports in the overhead light/sun roof – rear window switch panel on my 05 SC. One would be for the windshield mounted NAV unit & the other would be an extra. I want to make this look factory & not bubba installed. Would like to use the ports with the closing doors, like the ones mounted on the passenger side dash & rear console. I think there’s enough room (height) to install the ports & with several switches in the panel, getting some juice shouldn’t be a problem. Has anyone done this or have any suggestions that they can pass along? I’ll take pictures of the steps & post them once I get started.
