What are you towing?

I know that this topic has probably been beat to death, but here it is one more time. I have an 04 F150 SCREW 5.4l 3.73lsd w/a few upgrades. I currently tow a 4400lb travel trailer with no problems. In the not to distant future, I am thinking of upgrading to a approximately >7000lb loaded trailer. Anyone here in a similar situation? I make the yearly trip from Ohio to South Carolina or Tennessee....both through the mountains. Yes, I know there is no such thing as too much tow vehicle. I am not trying to set any speed records, just wondering if anyone is towing a similar weight?

Thanks in advance.

I towed a 30ft Coachman Capri we just sold. I think the dry weight was around 4500lbs. Not sure what the actual tow weight was though. My FX4 with 3.73's seemed to handle it ok.

I pull a 14' enclosed dual axle trailer weighing close to 8000lb's full of my electrical supplies. My truck had 900K when I started to pull and it now has 63,000km not a single problem. I don't see the need every to go to a f-250... It's funny when I pull up to a jobsite and I see the odd contractor pulling a smaller trailer then mine with a F-250 or F-350 desiel, all I can think to myself is how much the poor guy is paying a month!

F-150's can handle more then people think...
