body color FX4 / STX grill - anybody try this?

body color FX4 / STX grill - anybody try this?
I'm thinking about painting an FX4 grill (just the bar parts) body color and trying that out. Has anybody tried this, or have a pic of something like this look??

I believe the 2008 FX4 with the luxury package comes with the H bar grill PTM...

My quick google search did not turn up anything so I could be mistaken, that is just my recollection.

I believe you are correct, I remember seeing a white H-bar grille on a white F150, but I couldn't find any images either.

yea, the luxury package has the ptm h-bar.

i think it would be difficult to do yourself, unless your a proffesional

You can actually buy the PTM H-bar grill pre-sanded smooth directly from ford. Don't know the part #, but I think I saw it was about 2 bills.
