i have an 04 with factory tow package and im wanting to remove the hitch but its the kind that mounts with the bumper somehow can i remove the hitch and still be able to reinstall the bumper without the hitch??. thanks

 

you should be able to install the bumper with out the hitch. are you by any chance selling the hitch im looking for one for my 04 f150 pm me if you are good luck!!

 

Yes you will be able to reattach the bumper but you will need the bumper Reinforcement With out trailer tow.

do i need it the Reinforcement if i dont plan on ever pulling a trailer with a ball on the bumper

 

You would need number 11 reinforcement w/o trailer tow. If you have anything newer then a 05 past 8/8/05, looks like it is a different part number.

Yes you do. The reinforcement is the only thing that the bumper attaches to. The reinforcement bolts to the same bolts has your hitch did expect there is no hitch, just the bar for the bumper to bolt to.

 

ok well does anyone want to buy a rear chrome bumper and receiver hitch ?? ill just get a roll pan instead lol
