My $34.95 Ebay Find

Some of you know that I am changing up the look of my truck a bit and this was one of the pieces that I will be adding. I got it for 34.95 shipped! In the ad the whole grille looked only to be primed gray but for that price I was willing to take the chance at it. When I opened it up I was surprised to find it the normal textured black plastic. I will have to change the chrome surround on it or I might just paint it all PTM black with the whole grille, not sure yet.

Here's a pic

Hey Josh, good find!! Sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner, work was a little nuts this week. Its a good thing that you found that grill, I went and looked that the 2 wrecked trucks that I knew of. One of them was a XLT with FX4 stickers and the other was a FX4 but someone had already gotten the grill.

Hey no problem.

I just got done taking the chrome surround off and putting my black one on and installed on the truck and it all ready looks better! Even it is -5 out and I could not feel my fingers doing it, I could not wait!

Don't have a pic of it on the truck yet but here it is with the black surround...

I had a hard time getting it off the grille and broke just about all the clips off of it to save the clips on the grille that I needed....not sure how good it would stay on another grille. If you want it you can have it, just pay shipping. I am guessing it would probably be around 10 bucks or so.

How many are left that would still hold the grille in place? I was thinking of swapping mine to a chrome surround so I figured I'd ask...

I would say about 2-3 out of the 10-12...so yeah not to many left.

If you could figure out another any to secure it to the grille it would work fine as the surround itself is all intact.
