Winter Ice

Do any one of you winter boys ever get ice between the door and quarter panel? Every morning so far when I get up to go I can barely open my door and all I hear is ice scrapping on my paint Any ways to prevent the ice from getting in their?

Yes! I used to get it all the time. I think it's from getting in my truck with snowy boots. When I park for the night, the snow on the floormat melts (as the truck is still warm) and the water drains between the door and the quarter panel. If it's cold enough, it freezes there and makes it tough to get the door open.

Lately I've just been careful to brush any snow out of the truck when I get out, and I haven't had the problem since.

Hope that helps!
