rear end sits higher now

i had some work done at the local shop today. i live in an apartment complex and when i back up, i back up and lightly tap the brick wall that is just as high as my trailer hitch. it sticks out about 6 inches or so and i went to back up tonight, the bottom of the bumper hit the brick wall and not the hitch. would lifting up a truck to do work on it cause the truck to sit higher for any reason. im going to florida in a few weeks and want to make sure there are no issues on the way down there, so im kinda concerned.
any suggestions?

had the tires rotated. the tires are all the same size and the same tread depth. could the drive shaft have pulled out a little when it was lifted?

I've noticed that with a few trucks I've owned. It should settle in a day or so. how long was the drive home form the shop?
