Replacing manual seats with power seats

I am considering replacing my driver and passenger manual seats with leather, power seats. Has anyone done this yet? Im concerned with the power hook-ups and just as importantly the rails. My guess is when I get the new power seats, I will need to make sure and get the rails to mount them too. What about wiring? Thanks for any help with this guys.

youll definetely have to use power rails...I have changed rails on a ranger....not fun or safe to do at all because there is no stop after you switch them...I'm assuming its just a power and ground, all the control is in the switch for wiring.

I've pulled these seats out, the tracks or rails are part of the seat frame. Swapping them over is basically a simple R&R procedure. Just unbolt the entire seat, tracks and all from the floor and swap it over. Making sure the seat sensors for the air bags still work when your done is the fun part.

Talking So the rails are actually a part of the seats themselves?

Thanks so much for you rhelp on this guys, I hate to buy the seats off eBay and find out that I still need to go to the dealer to buy rails for them. So the rails should be part of the seat themselves then is that right? Thanks again guys for taking the time to help me with this. https://www.f150online.com/forums/im...ilies/bows.gif

This is the only pic I have that shows the tracks and frame.
And yes, the frame is actually riveted to the tracks, so the whole thing comes out as one unit.
