I agree. From the pictures it doesn't look like they would total it. But good luck.

Update:

took the truck to a body shop, what they saw was replace both door shells. and body filler and paint.

Theres just one problem on the way to the shop i was on the gas got off and then back on and heard a loud clunk from the rear end. also the truck is all wobbly. So they are gonna try to find what caused that, im guessing her nailing the tire maybe messed it up

In my neck of the woods, thats considered a scratch. They won't total it unless the frame was bent and the engine block ended up inside the cabin.

Sorry to hear of the bad luck and I share your pain. Driving home to see my parents Christmas morning some dummy ran a red light in east Texas, the lady in front of me stopped but I couldn't. Knocked hell out of her little Rav 4. Rear window glass exploded and went all the way back over my truck and onto the tonneau cover.

Again fortnately no one hurt and that's most important, we can always get new trucks or they can be fixed, not so a human life.

Unfortunately for me, since I rear ended her, it's my fault and the guy who ran the light crossing in front of us got off scott free - probably doesn't even know what happened behind him. So it's my insurance paying - $4,000 on my truck and I don't know what on the Rav 4.

I'm in the shop now and hope to be rolling again by the weekend. Good luck on your repairs!

Sorry to hear about your mishap, and all that happened to your truck but good to hear you are basically okay (and the other driver). Hope you get your truck back as good as new!
